- There are three ways to find
newspaper articles in ProQuest:
- You may browse the contents
of a complete issue (see instructions for finding
newspapers in ProQuest); or
- In both the basic and
guided search modes, you may instruct the program to
search only for articles from newspapers, as in section
2; or
- In the guided search mode,
you can instruct the program to search for articles
about a particular topic from a specific newspaper,
as in section 3.
- If you
are looking for newspaper articles in general, simply limit
your search by selecting "newspapers" in the "Search
in:" drop-down menu.

(Note: The search
shown returned 253 articles published since 1999 that
contain all three terms and that appeared in any of the
five national newspapers that are available in full text
format.)
- If you
re looking for articles from a particular newspaper regarding
a specific topic, use the "Guided Search" option
in which one of the choices for fields to search is "Publication
Name."
